Tara J. Goldsmith

Tara J. Goldsmith received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1995 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1998 she earned a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif.
Upon her law school graduation, Ms. Goldsmith was employed as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
In January of 2000 she joined the firm of Garganigo, Goldsmith & Weiss and in 2005 became a Partner. Tara Goldsmith specializes in corporate immigration law and is experienced in representing individuals and companies with both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. She has significant experience in helping businesses understand and manage international assignments and the employment of professionals on both a temporary and permanent basis in the United States.
She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and frequently lectures at conferences, universities and career fairs regarding the employment of foreign nationals.
