Carolina Fernandez

Carolina Fernandez has been with Garganigo, Goldsmith, and Weiss since June 2021. Prior to joining Garganigo, Goldsmith & Weiss, Ms. Fernandez served as an attorney with a local New York City immigration firm. Her focus is primarily removal, deportation and family-based immigration. Ms. Fernandez is native of Colombia who immigrated to the United States at an early age. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. 
 

Education:

Ms. Fernandez graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Haven in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. She earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac School of Law in 2019. 

 

During law school Ms. Fernandez volunteered at an Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and worked on several different immigration projects as a member of the school’s Civil Justice Clinic.

Additionally, Ms. Fernandez was member of the Moot Court Society and served as Executive Vice President of Mock Trial; earning second-place finalist at the 2019 American Bar Association National Criminal Justice Competition.
