Albert Garganigo

Albert D. Garganigo began his distinguished career in law with a major international insurance company, gaining invaluable corporate experience.

He began practicing immigration and nationality law in 1970 and, with Charles M. Goldsmith, founded the firm in 1977.

Born in Italy, Mr. Garganigo is a graduate of Iona College and Fordham University ‘s School of Law (Class of 1966).  He has published many articles in Italian and other foreign-language periodicals on the subjects of U.S. immigration law and visa processing.

He was an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) beginning in 1968, and served as Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and as Director of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce. He also served as a Director of the American Committee on Italian Migration (ACIM) and an Immigration Advisor to the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce.
