Foreigners trying to move to the United States can seek to obtain a green card in order to become “lawful permanent residents,” which allows them to live in the country and eventually seek citizenship. On February 24th, President Biden issued a proclamation rolling back orders issued by the previous administration, saying he found former President Trump’s Visa policy “did not advance the interests of the United States.”
