The Department of State has released the October 2026 Visa Bulletin, the first of the new fiscal year.
Key employment-based changes include EB-2 India becoming available again, along with forward movement in EB-1 India and EB-5 India.
At the same time, EB-2 for most countries and EB-3 for most countries and Mexico retrogress.
In the family-based categories, F2A advances significantly, while several Mexico, India, and Philippines categories also move forward.
Applicants should review the applicable Visa Bulletin chart and confirm which chart USCIS permits for adjustment-of-status filings in October.
