We are happy - and saddened - by the news that Ms. Alicia Szyffer announced her retirement from the firm effective June 15, 2021. Ms. Szyffer was a valued associate for the firm for close to 40 years handling all kinds of U.S. immigration matters. Her contribution to the firm will be sorely missed and we wish her a wonderful retirement.
The firm is pleased to announce we have hired a new associate attorney, Ms. Carolina Fernandez, who will be joining us on June 29, 2021 and assuming many of Ms. Szyffer’s responsibilities and cases.
Ms. Fernandez is a graduate of the Quinnipiac University School of Law where she was a second-place finalist at the 2019 American Bar Association National Criminal Justice Competition. She has worked at several law firms since January 2019. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. We welcome her on board!
We are also pleased to announce that we welcome another attorney to the GGW firm, Ms. Tenzin Dharlo. Prior to her admission to the New York State Bar, Ms. Dharlo has worked as a paralegal for our firm since 2017 handling all kinds of sophisticated corporate employmentbased visa petitions. Congratulations to Ms. Dharlo on her admission to the New York State Bar and her elevation to an associate position with the firm.
Best of Luck to Alicia and congrats to the new GGW attorneys
Good luck Alicia
