移民ビザ申請料

2013年2月1日以降に海外の米国領事館で移民ビザの発給をうける方は、米国へ出発する前に米国移民局移民ビザ申請料165ドルを米国移民局（USCIS）ウエブサイトから支払う必要があります。この申請料は、移民局が申請者の移民ビザファイルを作成・管理し、グリーンカードを作成・郵送するのにかかる費用を回収する目的で新設されたものです。 現状では、孤児(IR-3s/IR-4s)またはハーグ条約(IH-3s/IH-4s)にもとづく子供、米国政府の雇用にもとづくイラクやアフガン特別移民、帰国居住者(SB-1s)、Kビザ申請者などは同申請料の対象外となります。

国務省ビザ申請料金の改定

2012年4月13日より米国大使館・領事館に支払うビザ申請料が改定されます。非移民ビザについては、EおよびKビザをのぞいて申請料はすべて上がります。一方、移民ビザ関連の申請料金はすべて下がります。 国務省は、新料金が実施される2012年4月13日以前に支払われた申請料のあつかいは以下のようになるとしています。 すでに支払った料金が新しい申請料金より多い場合 →差額は返金しないとしています。 すでに支払った料金が新しい申請料金より少ない場合 →2012年7月12日までにビザ面接を受ける場合、差額を支払う必要はありません。2012年7月13日以後に面接を受ける場合は新しいビザ申請料金との差額を領事部会計で面接日に支払う必要があります。 非移民ビザの新旧申請料は以下の通りです。 ビザの種類 新料金 旧料金 B, F, J, I, M, TN $160 $140 H, L, O, P, Q, R $190 $150 E $270 $390 K $240 $350
