I-765を使って移民局に申請します。戸籍で配偶者であることを示します。発行されるEmployment Authorization Card(就労許可カード)は最高2年ですが、夫婦のI-94の有効期限のどちらか短いほうまでになります。I-94が半年以内に切れるなら延長と一緒に申請するのがいいでしょう。申請から75日から90日でカードが発行されるはずです。就労許可カードの延長は失効の120日前に申請しましょう。延長申請中でもカードが失効すると仕事を続けられなくなります。
