Ronald B. Klausner
Ronald B. Klausner is of counsel to Garganigo, Goldsmith and Weiss. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and involved in all areas of immigration practice including employment based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas and family immigration issues.
Education
Mr. Klausner is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University (B.A. Summa Cum Laude 1971) and Boston University School of Law (J.D. 1975, Editor Law Review).
Professional Experience
Immediately after law school and admission to the New York Bar, Mr. Klausner was an associate with Burns, Jackson, Miller, Summit & Jacoby, a full service law firm, where he practiced real estate and corporate law. In 1979, he left to become General Manager and General Counsel of Klausner Supply Co., Inc., a family owned wholesale distribution company. He has been affiliated with Garganigo, Goldsmith and Weiss since 2009.
Charitable Organizations
Ronald Klausner is presently Vice-Chair of the Westchester Business and Professional Division of U.J.A. Federation of New York where he actively raises funds to provide social services to the needy. Mr. Klausner is presently a Board member of the American Jewish Committee. He is active in Diplomatic Outreach advocating on behalf of AJC with U.N. Ambassadors and Consuls General, and Domestic Affairs advocating for Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
Other interests
Mr. Klausner is married with four children. His other interests include travel, golf, food and wine.
