Albert D. Garganigo
Albert D. Garganigo was one of the original founders of the firm. He has been a practicing immigration attorney since 1970 and currently serves "of counsel" to the firm. He was born in Italy and has been a member and directory of a number of Italian-American organizations. He has published many articles about immigration law in Italian and other foreign language periodicals.
Charles M. Goldsmith
Charles M. Goldsmith has been an immigration attorney in NY for more than 30 years and co-founded the NY immigration law firm along with Albert D. Garganigo. Mr. Goldsmith is a frequent visitor to Japan where he confers on immigration matters with clients and lectures at legal seminars. Mr. Goldsmith’s columns have appeared in Japanese media and periodicals. He is an active member of the Executives Association of New York City and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Herbert A. Weiss
Herbert A. Weiss has been a member of the firm since 1979. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), has chaired several key national and local AILA committees, and the American Bar Association. He lectures frequently and has published a number of articles on employment-based immigration law in professional journals.
Tara J. Goldsmith
Tara J. Goldsmith joined the firm in 2000. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She offers legal counsel with a focus on business visas, both nonimmigrant and immigrant. She lectures frequently about the employment of foreign workers in the United States.
Alicia Szyffer
Alicia Szyffer has been with the firm since 1983 and a practicing immigration attorney since 1982. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Assocation. She immigrated to the United States from Argentina and has published a number of articles about immigration law in Argentine periodicals.
Brian S. Weiss
Brian S. Weiss has been an associate with the firm since 2004. His focus is primarily with employment-based and family-based immigration. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He lectures and offers seminars on immigration and nationality law to numerous corporations and organizations.
Matthew D. Goldsmith
Matthew D. Goldsmith focuses primarily on employment-based immigration matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, where he serves on a number of committees.
